Getting Back to Sleep – My Solution After Three Years of Searching

Let's go back to sleep can be difficult

For the parent of a child who sleeps at night, wakes up in the first place is rarely a problem. By the time his head hits the pillow, you're so tired that you can almost instantly asleep. It is when to get up once or twice already, you're exhausted, it is three clock in the morning and you can not just rest back down – that's when you really have anything to quickly and easily once you dive ina deep dreamless, restful sleep.

Sleepless and exhausted

You toss and turn, the bed covers are too heavy, every tiny sound is pin-sharp amplified, you know that getting up to make a hot drink is going to wake you up even more, and even if it works eventually, it’s going to be another hour before you’re on your way back to dreamland. That’s at least an hour more out of your precious, all-to-short period of sleep. Strange how snug and cozy that bed is would be a few hours from now, when it's time to get up!

Well, in times like these, I found something that works for me, almost always. I reach for my MP3 player and my comfortable fit and choose to follow the spell. In one volume, the unremarkable, just loud enough to hear, but not so loud that my child does not listen to cry, if necessary, a drone begins to warm. It's an awesome sound more like an old propeller planeslowly by in the night. This is not music, so that there are no associations for me, except that the sharing of aircraft noise, which I always loved as a child.

The warm, soothing hum begins to rise, taking with me. My body relaxed, anxious thoughts disappear, as they glide smooth, warm down brings me back to where I want to be in a deep, restful sleep state. Even in cases where it takes a little longer to sleep, I find the state I enter when I have to hear this soundvery calming and peaceful.

For a while it can feel as if my mind is awake, asleep during the rest of me already, my whole body is completely relaxed, calm and quiet. After a time, the pitch seems to be sliding down a deep, quiet, gentle hum to solve, but it is something special Mellow richness of this special sound. It seems to change ever so slightly so that it is never dull or oppressive.

The sound I'm talking about is called a binaural beat track, and I must tell you from experience that not all are created equal binaural beats. Binaural beats are audio tracks that cause the brain that give certain states of consciousness, or in this case, very deep sleep. Many manufacturers try to mask the binaural beat sounds with music and natural sounds, but over time I've given up on all these types of track.

For me, waterfalls,Birds are chirping, and New Age music are not helpful when trying to sleep. Sweet, meditative music can be incredibly irritating and natural sounds predictable when I heard it a hundred times. It is up to a point where I am anticipating the next cawing of a bird. Some of the tracks I've even tried to have natural sounds on a loop that it's so short, I can not hear properly, if they repeat – not at all helpful.

Therefore, I strongly recommend the type of sound thatexecuted to cause the brain continuously through a complete sleep cycle, and let where you want to be the most, settled in a very deep, refreshing, dreamless sleep. For the sleep-deprived parents, this is like an oasis in the desert.
